‘Mimiko won’t disappoint Ondo electorate’

Ondo State Governor, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko
The Executive Director, Egalitarian Mission Africa, Mr. Kayode Ajulo, has said Governor Olusegun Mimiko will perform better during his second term in office.
Ajulo, a 2011 senatorial candidate of the Labour Party at the Federal Capital Territory, gave the assurance on Thursday during an interview with journalists in Akure.
He promised to lead a protest against the Mimiko administration, if it fails to deliver necessary dividends of democracy to the people.
He said, “So far so good. Governor Olusegun Mimiko has showcased his constant  leadership qualities. He has demonstrated that he is passionate about the people and development.
“Without doubt, he has shown that he is a grassroots politician, who has interacted with the people and this has enabled him to know the problems and challenges confronting them.”
Ajulo, who noted that the Mimiko administration’s market revolution strategy was unique, expressed confidence in the ability of the governor to provide more in every town in the state.
Meanwhile, Light and Oneness for Good Leadership Association, has applauded President Goodluck Jonathan for his unbiased role during the October 20 governorship election in Ondo State.
The group noted that the election was a testimony that the country has moved fast away from godfather syndrome.
The Akwa Ibom State chairman of LOGLA, Dr. Gabriel Ukpabio, said this in Uyo on Thursday.
According to him, by giving the people the right to choose their leaders, they will be in a better position to tell how they want to be governed.
