President Jonathan, who was represented by the
Minister of Youths Development, Mr Inuwa Abdulkadir, made the statement
while leading a delegation of the Federal Government to condole with the
government and people of Borno at the Government House, Maiduguri, over
the death of General Shuwa.
The president, who spoke in

and humility, who served his fatherland selflessly, adding that he was
a good ambassador of Borno State throughout his life time.
Responding,

sending such a powerful delegation to condole with the government and
people of Borno.
The president assured that his administration would do everything possible to see to the end of the crisis.
In
the same vein, a former Borno governor, Ali Modu Sheriff, has described
the death of General Mamman Shuwa as a great loss, not only to the
people of Borno State, but to Nigeria as a whole. According to him,
Shuwa’s killers would not know peace as long as they live.
Sheriff
stated this during an interview with newsmen in Maiduguri, when he
went to condole with the family of the slained General at his Gwange
