‘I’m not lobbying for Oritsejafor’s job’

General-Overseer-House-on-the-Rock-Pastor-Paul-AdefarasinSenior Pastor of House on the Rock Church, Pastor Paul Adefarasin, says he has no intention of contesting the President of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria.
Adefarasin spoke on Sunday in Lagos during a church service, following reports that he was lobbying to succeed the PFN President, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor.
He described the reports linking him to the PFN presidency as “mere rumours masterminded by malicious people”.
He told his congregation that he already had an “enormous task’’ as the pastor of the House on the Rock Church, which he founded.
“It is obvious that some people are planning to send out wrong messages with the aim of dividing the body of Christ. Let me say that I have never struggled to take up such position. I am not interested in it and I do not need it,” he said.
Meanwhile, in his Christmas message, Adefarasin described the birth of Christ as a special gift to the world.
He said people could not enjoy God’s gifts because of fear and unbelief.
He appealed to Nigerians to look beyond their struggles and hardship as God’s gifts come in unattractive packages.
