
Bolanta said, “we have made some arrests in connection with the case and very soon they (the other kidnappers) will all be apprehended.” The police boss in Imo State reassured the people in the state that, we (the police) will not rest until all forms of criminality has been eradicated from this state.”
Nkiru was kidnapped with Kenneth Okolie in Owerri penultimate Sunday but regained their freedom last week Thursday at about 9pm. The police informed that the actress’ family paid a ransom of N8million after repeated warnings to them not to pay any money to the abductors.
Nkiru is the Special Assistant to Rochas Okorocha, who is the governor of Imo State.
