Ondo’ll witness accelerated development — Mimiko Support Group

governor-Olusegun-Mimiko-Ondo-State[1]The people of Ondo State have been assured of accelerated development during the second term of Dr Olusegun Mimiko-led administration in the state.
The coordinator of the Mimiko Support Group,  Mr Oluseyi Adeniyi, who stated this in Akure, noted that the level of development that the state had witnessed in the past four years was a pointer to good things to come.
He also said the spate of work going on in the state showed that there would be no complacency during the secon term of the governor.
Adeniyi specifically mentioned that Ore industrial area, the independent power plant project (IPP) to power the industrial area in the state, the gas project and many more developmental projects that were at various advanced stages, would be completed.
He added that the governor would not be deterred by unnecessary transition process  as he was not new on the job.
According to him, “When we talk about governance in this state, Dr Olusegun Mimiko is not new in this aspect. That is why in the past four years, the governor has continued to always embark on people-oriented projects that would stand the test of time. What we are going to witness in the next four years in Ondo state is accelerated development in every sectors  in the state as the governor has used his first term to lay the foundation for this.
“We should not forget that the laudable initiatives and projects of the governor have put Ondo state into the global reckoning to the extent that many of these projects have been adopted by international bodies. The governor will use the next four years to consolidate on these achievements.”
The group also pointed out that in the coming months that the ideal of which Dr Mimiko stands for would be taken round the globe with the lauch of “Mimiko Support Group” slated for United State of America (US), United Kingdom (UK) and South Africa slated for April and May respectively. This would be accompanied with Dr Mimiko Leadership Institute that would be established in Abuja.
