UGHELLI—Delta State Police Commissioner, Mr. Ikechukwu Aduba,
has said that additional 100 police divisional headquarters would be
created to check the wave of armed robbery, kidnapping and other
anti-social vices in the state.
Aduba, in Ughelli, while commissioning the perimeter fencing project
embarked upon by the Ughelli Area Command, said the police was equal to
the task of policing the state.
Insisting that the police will continue to collaborate with members
of the public, he commended the efforts of the Ughelli vigilante group
in assisting the police in tackling crime in the area, urging the people
of the area to be involved in the policing of their domain.
