Yobe imposes curfew as gunmen attack military, police formations

Yobe – The Security Joint Task Force (JTF) in Yobe said suspected gunmen had attacked a military and police formations in the early hours of Thursday in Gashua. A statement issued by the JTF Spokesman, Lt. Eli Lazarus, said  ”the gunmen, suspected to be Boko Haram members, attacked a military location and police station in Gashua, the headquarter of Bade Local Government Area.”
The statement said that the details of the attacks were not readily available because the attacks were carried out in the night.
The Yobe Government has imposed restriction of movement order from 6p.m to 7a.m across the state to curb the spate of gun attacks and violence in the state two weeks ago. (NAN)
