Former Deputy Senate President, Albert Legogie Dies At 76

Nigeria’s Deputy Senate President in the Third Republic, Albert Legogie, is dead.

The elder statesman, 76, died Monday evening in Benin, the Edo State capital, after a brief illness.
The deceased in his lifetime represented Edo North in the upper arm of theLegislature.
Edo government officials, relatives, colleagues, friends and sympathizers, have been visiting Leogie’s Ugbo GRA residence to pay condolences.
