The Acting Governor ofTaraba, Alhaji Garba Umar, has said he has no information on when Nigerians should expect Governor Danbaba Suntai.
He stated this in a chat with newsmen in Jalingo on Sunday, upon his return to the state.
The acting governor visited Governor Suntai, where he is receiving treatment, as well as perform the lesser hajj in Saudi Arabia.
According to him, only the medical experts at the John Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, USA, could “tell” when his boss would return to the state.
He disclosed that they both “shook hands” and exchanged pleasantries but there was no long discussion.
Umar, whille thanking the people of the state for their solidarity and support, promised that he would continue to pursue the programmes and projects embarked by Suntai to ensure continuity in governance.
There had been speculations that loyalists of the ailing governor were making arrangements to fly him back, in a bid to avoid his removal from office.
