A 28 year old man Sunday Ogabor Ebah, was yesterday arraigned, before
an Ikeja Magistrate Court along with others now at large, on a three
count charge of conspiracy, felony and robbery.
The police prosecutor E. J Nnamonu, told the court that Ebah on
November 11, 2012, at about 2 p.m. at No. 3, Craig Street, Shomolu area
of Lagos, conspired with others, to commit felony.
He said Ebah, while in company of five other gangsters on December
22, 2011, on Bajulaiye Road, Shomolu, in Lagos, robbed Mr. Azeez
Olamilekan of No. 25 Salami Street, Off Apata Shomolu area of Lagos, of
his Nokia handset, valued at N25,000 and a cash sum of N30, 000.
He also allegedly robbed Mr. Segun Ademakinwa of his Nokia handset valued at N12, 000 and a cash sum of N20, 000.
He, however, pleaded not guilty to the charges and Magistrate A.O.
Komolafe, after granting him bail, adjourned the matter, till January
22, 2013 for further trial.
