The
dispute arising from oil deposits between Kogi,Enugu and Anambra States
will be amicably resolved soon,the Kogi State commissioner for
information has disclosed.
Addressing the media at the Government House,Lokoja yesterday,on the
outcome of the state executive council meeting,Mr. Yabagi Bologi, said a
meeting has been slated for Lokoja,the state capital,on the 29th and
30th of this month,so as to find amicable solution to the matter.
He assured that the state government was poised to ensure that the
state gets its fair share,as far as the matter was concerned, saying
they are on top of the situation.
The commissioner equally disclosed that the council has approved the
engagement of private consultants,with a view to enhance the internally
generate revenue.
Similarly,Mr. Bologi revealed that the government has approved the
reviving of the information sector in the state,stressing that the three
radio booster stations at Egbe,Ottite and Ochaja are to be reactivated.
