Suntai’s Property Still In Govt. House – Spokesman

danbaba-suntaiMr Sylvanus Giwa, the Senior Special Assistant, Media,  to Gov. Danbaba Suntai of Taraba, on Monday denied speculations that the governor’s wife, Hauwa, has moved family’s property out of Government House.
Giwa told newsmen in Jalingo that “the wife of the governor returned to Jalingo after spending some months with Suntai in Germany, where he is receiving treatment.
“Although she left the house, but to say that she packed away things belonging to the family is a blatant lie.
“The claims that the properties were kept in the governor’s private house, near Taraba Specialist Hospital, is also false as the governor does not have any house near the hospital,” he said.
Giwa also denied that the governor’s Chief Security Officer and Chief Detail had moved out of the building.
It was learnt that shortly after Suntai’s wife’s return to Jalingo, she told women in a gathering to cooperate with the Acting Governor’s wife. (NAN)
