Retirees Turn To Prayer Over Unpaid Pension

PensionersWorried by the delay and near unending saga that continues to rock the pension fund, Sokoto State Chairman of Pensioners, Alhaji Ahmed Ciroman Tangaza has called on all pensioners across the nation to resort to prayers for God’s intervention.
While urging pensioners to embark on special prayers in Churches and Mosques against the delayed payment of their pension arrears, Alhaji Ahmed said, in times like this, it is necessary to turn to only God in prayers for He alone can intervene and mitigate pensioners’ plight.
“I call on all Pensioners across the country to resort to prayers in Churches and Mosques for God’s intervention on our plight,” Tangaza advised.
Tangaza equally commended the Senate’s position on the worrisome issue of  former Pension boss, Abdulrasheed Maina.
“We are proud of the Senate. We are happy with the members for sticking to justice and ensuring that justice is placed on the table,” he noted.
He noted that the patience of Pensioners in the country is worth commenting and urged them to exercise patience while waiting for further instructions on the next line of action from the necessary quota.
