former Alliance for Democracy (AD) governor of Oyo State, Alhaji Lamidi
Adesina, as “an unapologetic crusader of democracy.”

Chairman, Yeye Oodua, Chief (Mrs) HID Awolowo, by Senator Femi
Okurounmu. While expressing shock at his demise, it eulogised him as “an
unrelenting Awoist all his life, adding that “his contribution to the

Nigeria in 1999 can never be forgotten.” It prayed for the peaceful
repose of his soul.
Similarly, an Ibadan-based social club, Omo Aj’orosun Club, has
joined other sympathisers in the state in mourning the death of the late
