Former presidential candidate of the Congress for Progressive Change (CPC), Muhammadu Buhari and the former governor of Sokoto State, Attahiru Bafarawa of All Nigerian People’s Party (ANPP), met  again in Kaduna for the second time to review and find lasting solutions to the crises bedeviling the country.
According to sources in the meeting, which took place at the general’s house and lasted for almost three hours, many issues affecting the nation’s development were discussed.
Bafarawa, who wore white agbada, was received by the former president, who was also clad in white kaftan. They later retired into the house for the meeting.
While assuring of their commitment towards sustaining such meeting and widening it to include other stakeholders, Bafarawa told some of his aides after bidding goodbye to Buhari that, their strength in proffering solutions to the nation’s problems,  is in their desire to ensure that Nigeria remained united.
He stated that their meeting was to ensure  cooperation between them so that they could, together, ensure the unity and stability of the country.
Earlier on Monday, while meeting with some political groups in Sokoto,  Bafarawa urged Nigerians to be strong, dedicated and hardworking in order to  sustain the nation’s unity and future.
